Varicocele:
This is the condition when the veins (the blood vessels that drain blood) are dilated. When this happens in testis, pooling of blood increase in the testis, due to the dilated veins.

Increase in temperature (scrotum) is Reduction in sperm count sperm motility & Increased dead sperms

Types:-

It is graded into 4types depending on severity.

Grade I, II, III, Iv

Diagnosis:-

1. Examination of testis
2. Testicular scan and Dopple

Treatment:-

Grade I, II does not require much treatment. IUI can be helpful. Multivitamins and antioxidants are given to improve sperms.

Grade III, IV can be corrected by Varicocelectomy. This can be open surgery or Laparoscopic varicocelectomy can be done.

General management:-
Yoga has been found to be helpful in Varicocele and sometimes even curative.

Success:-
Good success for sub fertility with IUI found.

Varicocelectomy is helpful only in some patients.
